Care of relatives

The need for special care (german only) can arise without warning. Employed relatives have got their hands full to organize nursing. A lot of issues have to be considered. Also a sudden aggravation of the condition of the relative in need for care may let the employed family member carer to spend significantly more time for nursing at once than before.

In order to allow family member carers to organize all necessities, the legislator has produced the opportunity for timeout from job.
